We create opportunities of growth and exposure for the children outside their normal circumstances and routines. The aim is to encourage them to dream and reach their full potential.
This includes weekly outings with the children to nurseries, restaurants, the zoo and other exposure opportunities.
Through our involvement we also attend to the children’s emotional, physical, social and health needs.
Our social worker on our team specifically focuses on addressing these needs.
SUCCESS STORIES:
- Many of our children have never been out of their immediate community at the age of 6, never driven in a car or seen town.
- The children are amazed that the things they learn from in their books are real, statements like “teacher you did not tell me fish are not made of paper” show their amazement.
- In 2015 the first of our children matriculated, whom became part of the program in 2003.
